QILA SAIFULLAH: The Inspector General (IG) of Balochistan Police, Muhammad Tahir, has emphasized that modern technology is essential for the police to effectively combat terrorism and criminal activities in the province.
Addressing a police gathering in Qila Saifullah, IG Tahir acknowledged the significant challenge of maintaining law and order in Balochistan. He praised the police force for performing its duties efficiently despite having limited resources and manpower.
During his visit, the police chief personally listened to the problems faced by the officers and personnel, assuring them that their issues would be addressed as a top priority. He also commended the force for its historic sacrifices and reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to serving the people of Balochistan.
IG Muhammad Tahir was warmly welcomed upon his arrival by District Police Officer (DPO) Shah Rukh and other senior officers. A ceremonial salute was presented by a police contingent in his honor.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, reaffirmed the police’s unwavering commitment to law enforcement and peace during a ceremony held in Khuzdar, stating that the forces they are confronting “may have deep roots, but we are determined to uproot them completely” .
Addressing police officers and young personnel, IGP Tahir emphasized that Balochistan is a “bouquet of diverse nations,” whose beauty lies in upholding the rule of law. He highlighted that maintaining order is the top priority of the police, as peace is the fundamental demand of the people and the foundation of development for every progressive nation .
The police chief’s remarks come at a time when security forces in the province continue to face significant challenges. His speech honored the “great sacrifices” made by the people of Balochistan for peace, describing the history written by martyrs as “truly commendable” .
IGP Tahir also outlined a forward-looking strategy, urging officers to explore more opportunities for public service. He announced that the government has decided to enhance the capacity and efficiency of the police department by providing necessary resources to every region, with special attention given to training and technology .
