TEHRAN: The Iranian state media reported that at least 201 people have been killed and 747 others injured in a series of Israeli strikes carried out across multiple regions of the country.
In this sense, among those killed were three members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The reports stated that the attacks affected 24 out of Iran’s 31 provinces, resulting in casualties and significant damage to both public and private property.
Iranian officials confirmed that a comprehensive assessment of the damage is underway. Initial evaluations indicate that infrastructure in several provinces has been impacted, though detailed figures regarding financial losses have not yet been released. Government agencies are coordinating efforts to restore essential services where disruptions have occurred.
The developments indicates a significant escalation in regional tensions. However, independent verification of the casualty figures and the extent of the damage remains limited at this stage.
Iranian authorities have urged the public to remain calm and to follow official guidance issued through state media and local administrations.
The hospitals and emergency response centers continue to operate at full capacity as they manage the aftermath of the reported attacks.
