How many American soldiers died in two weeks, American magazine reports

WASHINGTON: The rising tensions and ongoing clashes in the Middle East have reportedly resulted in the deaths of 13 United States soldiers over the past two weeks, as per the report published by The Wall Street Journal.

The development mentions the growing security challenges facing U.S. military personnel stationed in the region amid an increasingly volatile environment.

In this regard, six of the deceased US soldiers were killed in Kuwait, while another six lost their lives in Iraq.

In addition, one more American service member was reportedly killed in a separate incident related to the ongoing regional developments.

The report further stated that at least 10 US soldiers sustained serious injuries during the same period.

In addition to the fatalities, the report revealed that nearly 200 US personnel were injured in different incidents linked to the recent unrest and clashes.

However, military sources indicated that approximately 170 of those injured have recovered and have already returned to their duties after receiving medical treatment.

The escalating tensions in the Middle East have prompted increased security measures at US military installations throughout the region.

Meanwhile, regional dynamics have also contributed to growing security concerns.
