PISHIN: Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti said Afghanistan is a brotherly neighboring country but urged Afghan nationals to stop violence inside Pakistan.
Addressing a public rally of the Pakistan Peoples Party in Pishin, Bugti said Pakistan has supported Afghan citizens for decades but has not received a positive response.
“I tell my Afghan brothers to stop bloodshed in Pakistan,” he said. He added that under the leadership of Asim Munir, no one would be allowed to harm the country.
Bugti also condemned what he described as Israeli killings in Iran and said Pakistan’s national interest remains the top priority.
He congratulated residents on the elevation of Pishin to divisional status and pledged to address the province’s needs. “The people of Balochistan want peace and development,” he said.

Responding to critics, Bugti said he continues to visit all parts of the province despite claims that he could not leave his home. He pledged to work with full commitment to improve education, healthcare, and security.
