Four People Killed in honour-killing incidents

Nasirabad : Four individuals , two women and two men  were shot dead in two distinct incidents of alleged honor killings in different areas of Nasirabad district, Balochistan. In both cases, the suspects managed to escape after the shootings.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Manjhu Shori Police Station in Goth Roopa.

A man allegedly opened fire and killed his sister, identified as Soni, and her alleged acquaintance Ali Jan, claiming it was in the name of honor.

Upon receiving information, police reached the scene, took the bodies into custody, and initiated necessary legal proceedings.

: The second killing took place in the Fatehabad area of Babakot.

A man allegedly shot and killed his wife, referred to as (B) [name withheld], and her alleged acquaintance Muhammad Rafiq.

The suspect fled the scene immediately after the crime.

Police sources confirmed that FIRs have been registered in both cases. Search operations and raids are underway to apprehend the fleeing accused.

Further investigation into both incidents is ongoing.

These back-to-back honor-related killings have once again highlighted the persistent issue of violence in the name of honor in parts of Balochistan, with authorities emphasizing swift action to arrest the perpetrators.
