QUETTA: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Mir Tariq Hussain Bugti met Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Thursday.
The PHF President briefed the Chief Minister in detail about the national hockey team’s recent performance and its participation in the Pro League.
Congratulating the PHF, Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said the federation’s current leadership has significantly contributed to the development and promotion of Pakistan hockey at both national and international levels. He praised the national players’ recent performances, noting that they brought glory to the country.
The Chief Minister assured full support from the Balochistan government to promote hockey, emphasizing efforts to restore the sport’s popularity in the province and across the country.
PHF President Tariq Hussain Bugti thanked the Chief Minister and expressed hope that the provincial government’s cooperation would further strengthen hockey not only in Balochistan but nationwide. He also presented a commemorative souvenir to Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti on the occasion.
