QUETTA : A powerful blast at Quetta’s Shahwani Stadium on Tuesday has been strongly condemned by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, who labeled it a “cowardly act of enemies of humanity.”
In an official statement, CM Bugti declared that miscreants are playing with the blood of innocent citizens but vowed that the evil intentions of terrorists would be foiled at all costs. He emphasized that the protection of the people’s lives and property is the government’s primary responsibility and promised full cooperation between federal and provincial authorities to achieve this.
In response to the attack, the Chief Minister has ordered a high-level investigation into the incident. He has directed law enforcement to immediately arrest the perpetrators. A special committee will be formed to lead the probe.
Furthermore, CM Bugti has issued directives to local hospitals, instructing their administration to provide the best possible medical facilities to those injured in the blast and to ensure no negligence occurs in their treatment.
