QUETTA: The government of Balochistan decided to launch crackdown against individuals involved in the creation and use of fake local domicile certificates.
According to sources, the authorities has already started a verification process within the government departments to identify those holding fake documents.
Sources claimed that several individuals working in government departments on various positions were found to be Afghan nationals, who fraudulently obtained local domicile certificates and other relevant documents to secure employment.
Sources further said that in the first phase, the credentials of employees in various departments are being scrutinized.
The authorities warned that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in this fraud under relevant laws, including charges of forgery, fraud, and violations of the Foreigners Act.

Furthermore, action will also be taken against those who facilitated the issuance of these fake certificates.
