QUETTA: The government representatives have strongly rejected recent statements by Mir Yar Baloch alleging that ongoing security operations in Zehri constitute “a pattern of war crimes,” calling the statements “baseless, misleading, and aimed at distorting facts.”
The operations in Zehri are part of a wider effort to restore law and order following violent attacks by Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) militants.
The terrorists seized control of parts of Zehri town earlier this month, storming the Levies station, NADRA office, and several banks and public institutions.
In this regard, the government officials dismissed Mir Yar Baloch’s allegations as an attempt to “divert attention from the actions of Indian-backed militants” and to “undermine the state’s legitimate counter-terrorism efforts.”
The government maintains that all operations are being conducted in line with national and international laws, with a focus on minimizing civilian harm and protecting local communities.
Mir Yar Baloch’s latest propaganda, claiming that military operations in Zehri represents a “pattern of war crimes” is nothing short of shameless hypocrisy. Moreover, the government institutions allege that Mir Yar Baloch has long been associated with narratives promoted by India to malign Pakistan’s security operations in Balochistan.
In such a scenario, the government representatives confirmed their commitment to maintaining peace and security in Balochistan, pledging continued efforts to eliminate terrorist threats and ensure the safety of residents.
