QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Jafar Khan Mandokhel has stated that the province holds a pivotal role in Pakistan’s economic development and prosperity. He emphasized that Balochistan presents profitable opportunities for border trade and investment, positioning the region as a gateway to Iran, Afghanistan, and Central Asia .
The Governor made these remarks during a meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Member of Provincial Assembly, Mir Dastgir Badini, at the Governor House in Quetta.
Governor Mandokhel stressed that promoting border trade and strengthening economic activities in all border areas, including Nushki, is crucial for the development and economic well-being of the local population. He argued that such measures would enable the people of these regions to participate more actively in national development.
