KAN MEHTARZAI : Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, during a visit to Kan Mehtarzai on Wednesday, acknowledged the significant challenges in developing the province’s remote areas due to its dispersed population.
Addressing a public jirga of local leaders and tribes, the Governor formally inaugurated a new Grid Station and Singer Road. The event was attended by prominent provincial figures, including Speaker Abdul Khaliq Achakzai and several ministers.
Governor Mandokhel stated his administration is acutely aware of the daily struggles faced by residents and is addressing issues related to health, education, water, roads, and electricity “in a sequential manner.” He emphasized a priority on rural development to reduce pressure on cities and ensure the province’s balanced growth.
“A balanced approach would ensure the overall development of our province,” he said, outlining a vision that includes investing in rural infrastructure, education, health, and clean water.
The Governor pledged to personally convey the community’s specific demands—including road widening, more schools, and better medical facilities—to both federal and provincial authorities. He concluded by affirming that improving the quality of life for all through citizen participation in development projects remains a key government priority.
