Governor Balochistan stresses unity to counter external hostilities

QUETTA: Governor of Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has underlined the urgent need for internal unity and consensus to effectively counter external hostilities. He was briefing various delegations at the Governor’s House in Quetta, Governor Mandokhail said that when people work together for common objectives.

He was mentioning dangers of divisions within society, the governor said that anything fostering separation among people must be avoided.  He stressed the importance of initiatives that bring communities closer rather than creating isolation. 

In this sense, Governor Mandokhail described diversity as one of Pakistan’s and Balochistan’s greatest assets. The governor further argued that ongoing regional economic and political shifts indicate a promising future for Balochistan.

Governor Mandokhail’s statement come at a time when both national and provincial leaderships are urging greater cohesion among communities to face external pressures, while also capitalising on the province’s untapped economic potential.
