Islamabad: Governor of Balochistan, Jaffar Mandokhail, met with the Acting Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, She Yanqing, at the Balochistan House in Islamabad.
During the meeting, both leaders discussed Pakistan-China relations, progress on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects, the political situation, and other matters of mutual interest.
They emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation to ensure a shared and prosperous future.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Jaffar Mandokhail said that China is Pakistan’s long-standing and trusted friend as well as a close neighbor.
He described the CPEC as a game changer that will play a crucial role in promoting economic growth and regional connectivity.
The Governor noted that the completion of CPEC projects would further stimulate economic activity across the country.
He also proposed enhanced Chinese cooperation in the field of technical and vocational education in Balochistan.
Moreover, Governor Mandokhail invited Chinese investors to explore opportunities in Balochistan’s agriculture and livestock sectors, assuring them of full protection and facilitation for their investments.
The meeting concluded with the exchange of commemorative shields and gifts between the two dignitaries.
Chinese projects in Balochistan have played a vital role in boosting regional development, economic connectivity, and infrastructure growth under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Key initiatives include the development of Gwadar Port, the Gwadar Free Zone, road networks, and energy projects aimed at improving trade and industrialization.
