KARACHI: After a four-day lull, gold and silver prices surged sharply in both international and local markets.
In the international bullion market, gold prices jumped by $163 per ounce, reaching $4,413 per ounce.
In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola increased by a significant Rs16,300, rising to Rs464,062 per tola.
The price of gold per 10 grams also rose by Rs13,975 to Rs397,858.
Silver prices also climbed sharply.
The price per tola of silver increased by Rs570 to Rs7,454, while the price per 10 grams rose by Rs489 to Rs6,390.
