Gold Prices Fall in Pakistan After Recent Rally

KARACHI: Gold prices fell in Pakistan on Tuesday after weeks of steady gains, with the price of gold dropping by 1,500 rupees per tola.

After the decline, gold traded at 530,562 rupees per tola in the domestic market. The price of 10 grams of gold fell by 1,286 rupees to 454,871 rupees.

The price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold settled at 416,980 rupees.

Gold prices also declined in the international market. Spot gold fell by 15 dollars to 5,082 dollars per ounce.

Analysts said the drop followed recent profit-taking after sustained gains in global and local bullion markets.
