Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a historic surge for the second consecutive day.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola nationwide has risen by Rs21,200, reaching a new all-time high of Rs572,862.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs18,175, now standing at Rs491,136.
On the international front, gold prices climbed by $212 per ounce, trading at $5,505 per ounce.
It is worth noting that gold prices in Pakistan have already surged by Rs115,900 per tola in January 2026 alone, reflecting the ongoing sharp upward trend driven by global market dynamics.
