ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in the local market have increased by Rs1,000 per tola.
After declining for four consecutive days, gold and silver prices have risen again in both global and local markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold in Pakistan has reached Rs523,762 per tola after the increase, while the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs857 to Rs449,041.
Meanwhile, silver prices also increased, with per tola silver rising by Rs128 to Rs8,569. In the international market, gold prices went up by $10 per ounce, reaching $5,019.
