RAWALPINDI: Accorinding to the ISPR, Namaz-e-Janaza for the martyrs who embraced Shahadat while defending the motherland against the unprovoked and cowardly aggression committed by Afghan Regime on night 11/12 October 2025, was offered in Chaklala Garrison Rawalpindi, today.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff, Federal Ministers, Governor KPK, civil and military officers and public attended the funeral.
Speaking at the occasion Defence Minister remarked that “People of Pakistan are indebted to the ultimate sacrifice of these heroes who laid down their lives while defending territorial integrity of Pakistan against the cowardly and treacherous aggression of Taliban Regime and Indian sponsored terrorist proxies operating from inside Afghan soil”.
He added that “Armed Forces of Pakistan remain resolute to thwart any aggression and conspiracy against Pakistan with full support of the nation. “
It is worth mentioning that despite militant attacks in KP and Balochistan by the Indian-sponsored militants, Pakistan patiently stressed on the Afghanistan government to cooperate with the efforts to root out the militancy and not to back the terror groups.
However, the Afghan forces carried out a massive attack on Pakistan’s territory which was responded in a well-deserved way by the armed forces of Pakistan.
The Pakistani armed forces killed some 200 militants during the conflict on the western border, and some 23 Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom.
Pakistan successfully eliminated the Indian-backed terror posts on the Afghanistan’s territory.
Pakistan has made it absolutely clear to the Afghan government that any further militants’ attacks in Balochistan and KP will lead the Pakistani armed forces to launch massive attacks on the Taliban hideouts and the havens in Afghanistan.

Pakistan prioritizes peace but when it comes to the sovereignty and protection of our homeland and its people, the armed forces will take all the appropriate measures.
