QUETTA: Several transport companies have allegedly defrauded passengers by selling expensive sleeper bus tickets and then abandoning them in Mastung, leaving them helpless and frustrated.
While talking to local media, the affected passengers said that they had booked Rs. 4,000 sleeper bus tickets from Quetta to Karachi through companies named Ehsan, Qudrat, and Zahedan. However, instead of taking them directly to Karachi, the passengers were dropped off in Mastung and told that buses from there would continue the journey to Karachi.
Despite waiting for several hours, no buses arrived. As a result, the distressed passengers blocked the National Highway near Habib Hotel in Mastung, bringing all types of traffic to a halt.
The protesters’ demands immediate provision of buses to complete their journey to Karachi and also demanded strict action against the responsible companies.

They asked the district administration and transport department to take notice and imposed heavy fines on the companies who are looting passengers.
