MUSAKHEL: Four unidentified bodies were recovered from a remote mountainous area of Musakhel district in Balochistan.
As per reports, authorities found the bodies of four unidentified men in a remote mountainous area on the border of Musakhel and Zhob districts.
Officials said the bodies lay in a rugged and hard-to-reach mountain range.
They found clear bullet wounds from modern firearms on the victims.
Initial examinations showed the bodies were several days old.
Investigators said attackers fired shots from close range.
Levies forces and rescue teams reached the site soon after the discovery.
They recovered the bodies and shifted them to the District Headquarters Hospital in Musakhel.
Hospital officials started DNA tests and forensic analysis to identify the victims.
They said results are expected soon.
Security forces deployed in large numbers across the area.
They sealed the region and launched a wide search operation to trace suspects and secure evidence.
Local residents voiced serious concern over the incident.
They said such violence is worsening law and order in the area.
They called for the swift arrest of those responsible.
No group has claimed responsibility for the killings.
Police and local authorities said investigations are continuing.
The incident occurred a day after when four bullets-riddled bodies were recovered from the Harnai area of Balochistan.
Three out of the four men were identified later on.
It is worth mentioning that several murder cases have taken place in some deserted areas of Balochistan in the past many years.
Most of such crime incidents take place on the bases of personal enmity or tribal clashes
