PANJGUR: Four innocent Baloch men were brutally murdered in the Sordo area of Panjgur. The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), claimed responsibility for the killings, linking them to internal rifts and alleged revenge for the death of one of its members, Zeeshan Zaheer.
The victims, identified as Ghulam Sarwar, Islam Nizam, and Habibullah, were targeted in a cold-blooded attack that shocked the community. There are several reports suggesting that these men had previously resisted the BLA’s coercive policy of “support us or face death.”
In this sense, before this tragic episode, the homes of the victims had already come under grenade attacks, injuring two women and three children. The escalation from targeting families to carrying out killings underscores the increasing brutality of the group.
Furthermore, the incident in Panjgur is being described by community leaders as part of a broader pattern of exploitation in which innocent Baloch civilians are being turned into victims of the BLA’s internal disputes and external agendas.
Moreover, rights activists and political observers have condemned the killings, stressing that the BLA’s actions reflect an agenda of chaos rather than justice.

The Panjgur tragedy serves as a reminder to the Baloch people that their real enemy is not hidden; it is those who, under the guise of Baloch identity, continue to inflict violence upon their own communities.
