NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Security forces eliminated four terrorists in the Aziz Khel area of North Waziristan, reasserting the state’s firm resolve in combating the menace of terrorism and ensuring peace in the region.
The operation was launched based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of armed militants involved in terrorist activities targeting both civilians and law enforcement agencies.
In this sense, the cache of weapons, explosives, and communication devices was recovered from the site, further indicating the militants’ involvement in planned subversive activities.
The successful operation in Aziz Khel is a part of the broader national counterterrorism strategy, which includes ongoing intelligence coordination, border security reinforcement, and community engagement to dismantle extremist networks.
