QUETTA: The former Director General of Agriculture (Extension), Mr. Ghulam Rasool, has passed away after a prolonged illness. Ghulam Rasool served the Department of Agriculture, Government of Balochistan, with utmost dedication, professionalism, and integrity throughout his career.
He was known for his tireless efforts to elevate sustainable agricultural practices and support farmers across the province, he played a crucial role in strengthening the region’s agrarian sector.
In such a case, his colleagues remember Rasool as a hardworking and honest officer whose leadership and technical knowledge left a lasting impact on the department and the farming community. In this regard, under his guidance, several extension programs and field initiatives were successfully implemented, aimed at improving crop yields and promoting modern farming techniques in remote areas of Balochistan.
The department also offered condolences to the bereaved family, praying for patience and strength in this difficult time.
