ISLAMABAD: Former Afghan General Sayed Sami Sadat, who previously served as Director of Military Intelligence and Commander of Special Operations Forces in the Afghan Army, has made startling revelations about the alliance between the Afghan Taliban and India.
According to him, the Afghan Taliban are receiving financial support from India and are backing terrorist groups operating in Pakistan.
General Sadat claimed that the Afghan Taliban support anti-Pakistan factions and maintain close ties with India.
He further disclosed that the Taliban are provided with financial assistance by India, which is then funneled to groups like Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Baloch separatist organizations.
These groups are involved in terrorist activities within Pakistan, including deadly attacks.
The former general’s statement echoes the claims made by Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, confirming that the Afghan Taliban, in collaboration with India, are engaged in hostile operations against Pakistan.
His revelations reinforce Pakistan’s longstanding stance that regional terrorism is a result of the collusion between the Afghan Taliban and India.
Over the past two decades, Pakistan has witnessed a series of brutal attacks orchestrated by TTP and Baloch separatists, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
