Quetta: The Anti-Corruption Department has arrested five officials from the Balochistan Board, along with a student, in connection with a case involving forgery and tampering.
A student from Washuk, in collusion with board officials, forged mark sheets and certificates to secure admission to a medical college.
According to Director General of Anti-Corruption, Abdul Waheed Kakar, the matter was investigated following the orders of the Balochistan High Court, which revealed that the mark sheets and degrees were fake.
Acting on these findings, the department arrested the student and five board officials involved in the scam.
DG Kakar stated that more arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
He emphasized that strict action will be taken against corruption and fraud throughout the province, ensuring that transparency and merit are upheld across all departments.

He further added that those involved in corruption and bribery will be brought to justice and dealt with severely.
