ZHOB: A fire has broken out in the forests near Meena Bazaar and Rakhpor, close to Asoogh Mountain in Zhob, engulfing a large area.
Local residents are trying to extinguish the flames on their own. The mountain is reported to be rich in precious minerals, rare Sheeni trees, and other natural resources.
However, this valuable region is now under severe threat due to the spreading fire.

Locals and social activists have appealed to the Balochistan government and the Deputy Commissioner of Zhob to immediately launch a rescue operation to save this treasured forest and mountain from destruction.
