ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Wednesday rejected the statements made in the Indian Parliament regarding ‘Operation Sindoor’ as baseless.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stressed that India should fulfill its obligations under the agreement instead of boasting about the illegal move.
While responding to the statement made in the debate on Operation Sindoor in the Indian Parliament, Shafqat Ali Khan said that Pakistan rejects the baseless claims made by Indian leaders in the Lok Sabha on the so-called Operation Sindoor.
He said that such statements reflect a dangerous trend of distorting facts and justifying aggression. The world knows that India attacked Pakistan without a credible investigation and evidence of the Pahalgam attack.
FO Spokesperson said that innocent men, women and children were martyred in the Indian attacks and India failed to achieve any of its strategic objectives.
Regarding the Pakistan response to Indian aggression, he said that Pakistan’s glorious success in neutralizing Indian fighter jets and military targets is an undeniable fact.
He further said that Indian leaders should acknowledge the losses of the armed forces and Indian leaders should accept the active role of a third party in implementing the ceasefire, adding that Indian leaders should stop misleading the public.
Indian failed to take advantage of the offer of the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for a transparent investigation into the Pahalgam attack, FO Spokesperson said.
He added that India acted as judge, jury and executioner by taking the path of war and aggression and the world sees the result of its aggression and no country was ready to support its moves.
