QUETTA : Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, a central leader of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), former Chief Minister, and Chief of Jhalawan, has issued a strong statement following a wave of terrorist attacks across the province. In a post on the social media platform X, Zehri asserted that the coordinated assaults on multiple cities were a deliberate attempt to destabilize Balochistan and hold its public hostage. He declared, however, that such “nefarious dreams” would never succeed against the resolve of the province’s brave people and security forces.

Zehri paid a high tribute to the police and security personnel for their swift and effective response in thwarting the attacks in various regions. He praised their bravery and professional skill in confronting the militants, stating that the forces have successfully “broken the back of the terrorists’ network.” This decisive action, he claimed, has left the terrorist elements in a state of panic and disarray.

While commending the operational success, the former chief minister expressed profound grief over the human cost of the violence. He offered deep condolences and solidarity with the families of the ten police and security personnel who were martyred during the incidents. Zehri vowed that the nation would never forget the ultimate sacrifices made by these brave individuals in the line of duty.

In his comprehensive statement, Zehri also strongly condemned the secondary incidents of violence aimed at damaging government property and spreading fear among the civilian population. His remarks underscore a unified political condemnation of the violence, positioning the attacks as an assault on both the state and the social fabric of Balochistan. The statement reinforces the official narrative of security forces gaining the upper hand while acknowledging the tragic losses suffered in the defense of the province.
