NOSHKI: Following a security breach at a Levies checkpost in Noshki, five personnel of the Balochistan Levies Force have been dismissed from service.
The district administration—on the orders of the Director General of Balochistan Levies Force, Abdul Ghaffar Magsi —has terminated five officials under the 2015 Disciplinary Rules, citing gross negligence and dereliction of duty.
Abdul Ghaffar Magsi had taken serious notice of the incident and instructed immediate disciplinary measures.
The incident occurred in the Kishingi area of Noshki, where armed assailants launched a sudden attack on a Levies check post. According to official sources, the attackers seized government-issued weapons and torched a vehicle. Levies’ personnel present at the post failed to resist the attack, prompting swift and stern disciplinary action.
Acting on the DG’s instructions, the Deputy Commissioner of Noshki formally dismissed five officials under the Balochistan Levies Force Disciplinary Rules, 2015. The dismissed personnel include Muhammad Khan, Shoukat Ali, Siraj Ahmad, Muhammad Tayyab, and Muhammad Naeem.
Authorities cited gross negligence, cowardice, and irresponsibility during the attack—terms considered serious breaches of security discipline. Officials stated that such behavior undermines the operational integrity of the force and cannot be tolerated in a volatile security environment like Balochistan.
