QUETTA: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan successfully neutralized five Fitna Al Hindustan terrorists in a critical intelligence-based operation carried out in Jungle Pir Alizai, within the Afghan refugee camp area.
As per the verified sources of CTD officials, the operation targeted elements affiliated with “Fitna Al-Hindustan” and “Khawarij,” groups reportedly involved in a series of violent anti-state activities. In this sense, five militants were killed on the spot, eliminating what security sources termed a “significant threat to regional stability.”
Two CTD personnel sustained injuries during the confrontation and were immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility, where they are reported to be in stable condition.
The operation led to a substantial recovery of arms and explosives. Among the seized items were a cache of IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices), automatic weapons, and a large quantity of ammunition and explosive materials.
The CTD reasserted its commitment to continuing intelligence-driven operations to root out extremist networks operating in the province.
