Fitna al Khawarij Terrorist Killed, Another Captured in Malakand Operation

MALAKAND: Security forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation in Dargai tehsil of Malakand district, killing a terrorist of the Indian proxy Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

According to the reports, security forces conducted the operation in the Mehrdai area of Dargai, where the Fitna al Khawarij terrorists were hiding.

They captured another terrorist, Syed Habib—son of Syed Mehran and reportedly of Afghan origin—after injuring him during the operation.

Forces recovered a large cache of arms, explosives, and tactical gear from the terrorists’ possession.

The seized items included rocket launchers, Kalashnikov magazines, multiple knives, 130 BG-7 rounds, 16 hand grenades, communication tools (pocket phones, MP3 players, mobile phones), IED-making materials (remotes, wiring), banned outfit flags and insignia, as well as local and foreign currency. Security forces also found miscellaneous supplies such as clothing, oil bottles, torches, and cutters.

Officials confirmed that clearance and surveillance operations remain underway to secure the area and ensure long-term stability.
