KALAT: Terrorists associated with Indian proxy Fitna al Hindustan shot and killed Anwar Lehri in a targeted attack in Kalat on Monday.
The internationally designated terrorist group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) later claimed responsibility for the murder.
Police recovered the body from the scene and moved it to a local hospital for legal procedures. Initial reports suggest that the victim was deliberately targeted for not aligning with the extremist ideology promoted by the Indian-backed proxy network, Fitna al Hindustan.
Law enforcement agencies arrived promptly, secured the area, and collected forensic evidence. Security forces have launched a search operation and are pursuing leads to identify and apprehend the attackers.
