President, PM condemn 'Fitna al-Hindustan' terror attack in Mastung

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned the terrorist attack by ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’ militants on security forces in Mastung, Balochistan.

He said the India-backed terrorists would soon be eliminated. He affirmed that Pakistan’s sovereignty and security are non-negotiable.

The President called the attack a cowardly act and a desperate conspiracy against the state of Pakistan.

He paid rich tribute to Major Muhammad Rizwan Tahir, Naik Ibn-e-Ameen, and Lance Naik Muhammad Younis. He prayed for their elevated ranks in the hereafter and patience for their families.

President Zardari said the nation salutes the great sacrifices of its brave martyrs.

He praised the timely and courageous response of the security forces. He said the elimination of terrorists in the counter-attack reflects the forces’ professionalism and national resolve.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also condemned the Mastung incident.

He prayed for the martyrs and extended condolences to their families.

The Prime Minister said the nation is committed to eradicating all forms of terrorism.

He stated that security forces stand as an iron wall in defense of the country.

He said the sacrifices of the security personnel are unmatched and vowed to eliminate terrorism completely.
