Rawalpindi: Three people killed in tragic firing incident over family dispute
According to sources, three individuals lost their lives in a firing incident in Qasimabad Bazaar, Rawalpindi, stemming from a family feud.
Reports indicate that a jirga (tribal council) was convened to resolve the ongoing dispute between the two parties.
During the proceedings, some individuals opened indiscriminate fire, resulting in the deaths of three people on the spot.
Several others are reported to have been injured in the incident.
The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to hospitals for postmortem and other formalities.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter and are collecting evidence from the scene.
