KOHLU: Local authorities have successfully brought a wildfire that broke out in the mountainous region of Kohlu under control on Saturday.
As per details, the Levies Force and local residents jointly conducted an operation to control the wildfire.
The fire had initially triggered a state of emergency in the area, raising fears of widespread damage. However, coordinated efforts by security personnel and community members helped contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further.
According to officials, the exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported.
