RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that all individuals involved in terrorism including facilitators, helper will be brought to justice, regardless of their identity or location. He further asserted that the true face of terrorism in the region will be exposed before the world.
Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Corps Headquarters Peshawar. He was briefed on the current security situation in the country and ongoing counter-terrorism operations.
Field Marshal Asim Munir attended the funeral prayers of the martyrs of the terrorist attack in Bannu Garrison and visited the injured soldiers undergoing treatment at CMH Bannu.
The Army Chief paid rich tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the motherland and appreciated the courage and bravery of the security forces against the Indian-sponsored Fitna-ul-Khawarij.
COAS said that the entire nation is united against terrorism and our struggle will continue until all forms and manifestations of terrorism are completely eradicated from Pakistan, adding thate very facilitator, helper and criminal involved in terrorism will be brought to justice.
The Army Chief said that the blood of any innocent Pakistani will definitely be taken to account and every attempt to harm the stability of the country will be responded to promptly and severely.

The Field Marshal stressed the need to enhance the capacity of civil law enforcement agencies, including the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, and directed that the relevant government agencies take immediate steps in this regard. The Pakistan Army will continue to provide all possible support for the training and capacity building of law enforcement agencies.
