RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir addressed the probationary officers of the 52nd Common Training Programme (CTP) at the Army Auditorium.
These officers from the Civil Services Academy had recently visited Pakistan Army formations in peace-time and operational areas across Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.
They interacted with personnel from all three services and gained valuable field experience.
The session with Field Marshal was part of a national effort to build civil-military synergy and foster mutual understanding between institutions.
Field Marshal Munir spoke on national security, internal and external threats, and the Army’s role in regional peace and national stability.
He stressed the need for institutional harmony, mutual respect, and shared purpose to achieve Pakistan’s goals.
He also emphasised the importance of a competent, transparent, and service-oriented civil bureaucracy.
He urged the young officers to uphold integrity, professionalism, and patriotism in their service to the country.
The CTP officers appreciated the opportunity to hear directly from the Army leadership.
They gained insight into the Army’s strategic vision, preparedness, and its role in national resilience and development.
