ISLAMABAD: Chief of Defence Forces , Field Marshal Asim Munir, has said that out of all Muslim nations, Allah has entrusted Pakistan with the honour of safeguarding the holy sites of Haramain Sharifain.
Addressing the Ulema and Mashaaikh Conference, Pakistan’s first Chief of Defence Forces stated that only an Islamic state has the authority to declare jihad, and no individual or group can take that upon themselves.
He said that the State of Madinah and the State of Pakistan share a deep and historic connection.
Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized that dignity and strength are earned through hard work and knowledge, not through division.
He urged religious scholars to keep the nation united and to broaden the nation’s vision.
According to him, when a society abandons the pen and the pursuit of knowledge, chaos and corruption take hold.
He added that terrorism is not Pakistan’s practice but a tactic associated with India.
He further said that Pakistan confronts its enemies openly and fearlessly, not from hiding.
He remarked that in the battle for truth, Pakistan earned victory through the help of Allah.
Concluding his address, he reaffirmed that Pakistan will always remain strong and eternal.
Earlier, the Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif paid a tribute to the aremd forces of Pakistan over their ummatched valour and determination in the BATTLE OF TRUTH against India.
The Prime Minister said that Field Marshal Asim Munir led the forces quite exquistely during the BATTLE OF TRUTH and defeated the enemy.
He said that the national and the regional situation demands unity , not provocation.
He further said that the the civil and the military leadership of the country is trying hard to take the country towards stability and progress.
He said that the success could only be earned through hard work, not through magic spells.
