QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has said that India is providing support to terrorist groups in Balochistan and that there is concrete evidence of India supporting terrorist networks in the region.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir highlighted that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared and ready to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty against any threat.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), tribal elders at the Quetta Grand Jirga reaffirmed their unwavering solidarity with state institutions and pledged full cooperation in combating all forms of terrorism.
While addressing the grand jirga in Quetta, the Army Chief said that peace in Balochistan is vital for Pakistan’s prosperous future and asserted that no force can undermine it.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his address, condemned the intensifying proxy war in Balochistan under Indian patronage. He condemned local support for groups like Fitna-ul-Hindustan as anti-national and warned that terrorists who hinder peace and development will be decisively crushed.
