FIA Balochistan arrests three human traffickers

QUETTA: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested 11 people for trying to illegally travel to Iran from the coastal town of Jiwani in Gwadar, Balochistan.

Those arrested include five Afghan nationals and six people from Punjab. Officials reported that the group was intercepted by an FIA team as they attempted to use a sea route to cross into Iran.

Initial investigations suggest that their final goal was to travel onward to other countries from Iran. The FIA has registered cases against the suspects and is continuing its investigation.

The agency stated that it is using all available resources in its ongoing crackdown against human smuggling and illegal border crossings.
