MASHKEL: The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (South) has completed the construction of a modern library and futsal ground at Government Boys High School Mashkel, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the local youth.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Inspector General FC Balochistan (South), Major General Bilal Sarfraz, who formally opened the new facilities. Member of Provincial Assembly, Mr. Zabid Reki, also participated in the event, along with a large number of local elders, youth, and people from various walks of life.
To further promote sports and healthy activities, FC Balochistan (South) distributed sports kits to 12 local teams during the event, reflecting the organization’s ongoing commitment to youth empowerment.
The newly established library is equipped with over 1,300 quality books, along with e-books, computers, and digital screens, providing students and readers with access to modern educational resources.
Local community members, youth leaders, and residents widely praised FC Balochistan (South) for its positive efforts. They acknowledged the Corps’ crucial role not just in maintaining law and order, but also in uplifting the region through initiatives in education, health, and sports development.
The initiative is being hailed as a model of civil-military cooperation, aimed at bringing meaningful change to the remote areas of Balochistan.
