KOHLU: FC Balochistan has established a free blood bank in Kohlu district.
The facility offers blood storage, blood sampling, grouping, and donation services at no cost.
Residents of Kohlu, Maiwand, Sibi, Fazil Chal, Kahan, and Barkhan are benefiting from the service.
Tribal elders and locals have welcomed the initiative. They called it a major welfare step for the region.
Previously, Kohlu had no free blood bank. Patients had to travel to Dera Ghazi Khan for treatment.
Local elders thanked FC Balochistan for providing this essential facility to poor families.

The MS of the District Hospital Kohlu said many local children suffer from thalassemia.

He added that the new blood bank will greatly help patients in Kohlu and nearby areas.
