QUETTA: The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, in collaboration with district administrations, organized 42 open courts and jirgas across southern Balochistan in October to directly address public grievances and strengthen community engagement.
The sessions were held in several districts including Turbat, Buleda, Mand, Dasht, Khuzdar, Panjgur, Mashkhel, Dalbandin, Taftan, and Hoshab. Large numbers of local elders, youth, and residents attended the events to raise issues related to health, education, law and order, and basic services such as water and sanitation.
Officials said the initiative aimed to establish direct communication with citizens and provide on-the-spot solutions to local challenges. Immediate measures and recommendations were adopted to resolve complaints and improve access to essential facilities.
Participants praised the FC and district administrations for their joint outreach efforts, calling them a positive step toward restoring public trust and promoting efficient local governance. Many residents expressed hope that such initiatives would continue, bridging the gap between authorities and remote communities in the province.
Earlier, the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan organised 251 free medical camps across the province’s most remote and underdeveloped regions during October 2025, providing essential healthcare to thousands of residents.
The camps were held in areas with limited or no access to medical facilities, including Turbat, Buleda, Mand, Hoshab, Dasht, Kharan, and Dalbandin.
