A recent social media post claiming that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) had set up a roadblock near the Lakpas Toll Plaza has been confirmed as false. Officials report that the claim, which was supported by an old and unrelated video, is a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.
According to security sources, the situation on the ground is calm and under control. Security forces are present in the area, and there is no such roadblock or any related security threat at the Lakpas Toll Plaza.

Authorities state that this misinformation appears to be a strategic move to divert attention from recent counter-terrorism successes. Specifically, it is seen as an effort to suppress the confirmed news of the death of Rehman Gul, the deputy chief of the BLA’s elite Majeed Brigade, and to cover up the group’s continuous operational losses and failures.
