SIBI: The social media post circulating online has claimed that a “major attack took place on a military cantonment in Sibi, accompanied by multiple explosions and heavy gunfire.” After thorough verification, this claim has been found to be fake and fabricated.
In this regard, no such incident has occurred in Sibi or its surrounding areas. The area remains peaceful and fully under the control of security forces.
So far, the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have confirmed that the viral post is baseless and appears to be part of a disinformation campaign aimed at creating panic and spreading unrest.
