QUETTA: Police sources confirmed that an explosion occurred near a vehicle in the vicinity of Jabal-e-Noor in Quetta, resulting in the death of one person. The incident has been described as a serious security concern, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement agencies.
The blast took place near a parked vehicle, which also sustained damage due to the intensity of the explosion.
Police and bomb disposal squads rushed to the scene shortly after the incident was reported, cordoning off the entire area and launching a thorough investigation.
In this sense, the nature of the explosion, whether it was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) or another type of explosive has not yet been officially determined.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the blast so far. In addition, emergency services shifted the body to a nearby hospital for identification and medico-legal procedures. Meanwhile, law enforcement officials have appealed to the public to stay away from the site and remain vigilant.
