11 killed, 21 people injured in the blast outside Islamabad Judicial Complex

ISLAMABAD: At least 11 civilians were martyred and 20 others injured in a suicide blast outside the District Judicial Complex in G-11, Islamabad, on Tuesday, police said.

The police confirmed that it was a suicide blast carried out by the Indian proxy Fitna al Khawarij in the car parking lot of the judicial complex afternoon.

Burak Baloch received multiple videos of the incident showing damage to a vehicle in which a cylinder tank was reportedly lying and people running from the blast site.

Islamabad police chief, who visited the blast site, confirmed that 21 people were injured in the blast in which several people are in the critical conditions.

Police said that the explosion took place in vehicles parked in the court’s parking lot. The blast caused damage to several vehicles and left six people seriously injured, all of whom were shifted to PIMS hospitals for medical treatment.

Emergency teams and law enforcement agencies immediately rushed to the site, cordoning off the area to collect the evidence of the blast and the injured were taken to the PIMS hospital for medical treatment.

Police officials confirmed that the explosion took place in vehicles parked in the court’s parking lot.

Law enforcement agencies and bomb disposal experts are examining the wreckage to ascertain whether the explosion was caused by a planted device, gas cylinder, or mechanical fault.

It is pertinent to mention that last Tuesday, a gas cylinder exploded in the basement of the Supreme Court, killing one person and injuring two others.
