QUETTA: The Excise and Taxation Department of Balochistan has arrested a drug dealer and recovered five kilograms of crystal meth (commonly known as Ice) in an operation carried out on Sariab Road of Quetta.
According to details, the Excise and Taxation successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of drugs in the provincial capital, acting on a tip-off, officials carried out a secret operation on Sariab Road and recovered 5 kilograms of crystal meth (commonly known as Ice) from a suspect. The officials also arrested one alleged drug dealer and the vehicle used in the smuggling attempt was also seized.

While talking to media persons, officials said that Ice is a deadly synthetic drug that poses a serious threat to the youth, and its spread must be curbed at all costs. The suspect is now in custody, and a case has been registered against him.
