LAHORE: The educational boards across Punjab have finalized a tentative date sheet for the 2026 annual examinations of Matriculation and Class IX, showing a schedule that is set to shape the academic future of thousands of students across the province.
The annual Matric examinations will commence on March 27, 2026. In this regard, the students will appear in Arabic and History papers, indicating the formal start of the examination season.
The final Matric paper is scheduled for April 16, with Punjabi listed as the concluding subject.
Meanwhile, examination boards are actively engaged in finalizing examination centers and related logistical arrangements.
The Class IX annual examinations will begin immediately after the conclusion of Matric exams. The first paper for Class IX students will be held on April 17, also starting with Arabic and History.
The final examination for Class IX is scheduled for May 6, when students will sit for Biology and Computer Science.
However, the educational officials hinted that further procedural details including roll number slips, examination timings, and center allocations will be shared in the official announcement.
So far, the release of the final date sheet is expected to draw significant attention from parents, teachers, and academic institutions alike.
