QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Thursday reaffirmed his government’s resolve to empower the province’s youth through modern technical and vocational training.
He was chairing a high-level meeting to review the performance of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA). Provincial Adviser for Labour and Manpower Sardar Ghulam Rasool Umrani, Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, Principal Secretary Babar Khan, Labour Secretary Niaz Nichari, and B-TEVTA Managing Director Tariq Javed Mengal also attended.
The meeting reviewed B-TEVTA’s overall performance, ongoing projects, and future plans to strengthen technical education in the province.
Speaking at the session, CM Bugti said B-TEVTA plays a vital role in preparing a skilled workforce for Balochistan. He noted that the authority is creating new employment opportunities for youth and directly contributing to economic growth.

The participants also discussed the Chief Minister’s Youth Skills Development Program in detail. CM Bugti said the initiative will equip young people with modern technical training, enabling them to compete not only in the national job market but also abroad.

He directed officials to further strengthen B-TEVTA’s institutional framework and expand the capacity of training centres across the province. “The provincial government will use all available resources to empower the youth of Balochistan,” Bugti stressed.
